AMTI

ARCI's commitment towards ensuring proliferation of novel technologies in the Indian industries is exemplified by ARCI's establishment of an Advanced Materials Technology Incubator (AMTI) adjacent to its R & D campus. ARCI's technology receivers are allowed to set-up their production units at AMTI for a maximum period of upto 5 years after commencement of production. ARCI's experience in managing AMTI has also made it abundantly apparent that the tenants can potentially derive multiple benefits from their presence in the incubator in an effort to establish commercially successful ventures.

One tenant company, Sai Surface Coating Technologies, recently graduated from AMTI to its full-fl edged production facility in Patancheru near Hyderabad, after buying a second DSC unit from ARCI to meet the growing market demand and also acquiring the MAO technology from ARCI. Two other tenant companies, Falcon Graphite Industries and Capri Cables Pvt. Ltd., have also been able to develop new markets in recent times.
