Biography
I am a Ph.D. Research Scholar in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. I completed M.Sc. in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the University of Madras and my B.Sc. in Physics from Ethiraj College for Women, with my schooling at GRT Mahalakshmi Vidyalaya at Chennai. My research centers on thermoelectric bulk materials, with emphasis on interface engineering and minimizing contact resistance at thermoelectric–electrode interfaces.
Research Areas of Interest
Thermoelectric bulk materials with specialization in contact resistance and interface engineering, specifically at thermoelectric–electrode interfaces to achieve low-resistance contacts. I focus on developing and investigating coating strategies for the formation of optimized contact layers, alongside thermoelectric device fabrication. Additional research interests include magnetocaloric materials for energy and thermal management applications.
