Biography
I am a Ph.D. research Scholar in Materials Science, working on advanced structural materials with a focus on medium-entropy alloys. My research involves microstructural characterization and mechanical property evaluation using techniques such as nanoindentation, split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB), and cold spray. I have hands-on expertise in operating nanoindentation systems, including advanced testing and high-resolution property mapping for evaluating the mechanical properties at small scales. Currently, I am investigating the deformation behavior of CoCrNi-based alloys, including interstitially or substitutionally doped systems, with emphasis on the role of stacking fault energy in governing the strength-ductility trade-off under extreme testing conditions.
Alongside, I am also engaged in surface engineering research, focusing on micro-arc oxidation (MAO) coatings on Al5083 alloys. My current work investigates the tribological performance and electrochemical corrosion behavior of MAO-coated systems, aiming to improve wear resistance and durability in aggressive environments. This includes systematic analysis of coating thickness, porosity, and process parameters, as well as their influence on wear mechanisms and corrosion resistance.
Overall, my research aims to establish processing–structure–property correlations across both bulk alloys and surface-engineered systems, contributing to the design and optimization of materials for strategic, aerospace, and high-performance engineering applications.
