Biography
K. Divya is a Scientist at the International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy & New Materials (ARCI), Hyderabad
With extensive experience in Materials Engineering, her current role focuses on Additive Manufacturing (AM). She was instrumental in successfully establishing and operationalizing the AM facility at ARCI. Her work involves leading the entire additive manufacturing lifecycle, from material selection to post-processing, and completing various collaborative projects for sectors including defence, aerospace, and automotive.

Ms. Divya's background includes valuable experience in the automotive and heavy industry sectors, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of industrial quality and manufacturing requirements:
1. Volvo India Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru (Nov 2015 – Feb 2016):
Senior Engineer, Supplier Quality: She was responsible for overseeing and managing the quality of machining and manufacturing suppliers.
2. L&T Special Steels & Heavy Forgings, Surat (Feb 2014 – Dec 2014):
FTC, Product Management: In this role, she focused on standardizing and validating forging simulation processes.
3. WABCO INDIA LIMITED, Chennai (Jul 2010 – Jul 2011):
Graduate Engineer: She was involved in new material development for air brake systems, encompassing material characterization and failure analysis.
Education and Professional Engagement:
Ms. Divya's strong foundation includes an M. Tech in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai. She also holds a B.E. in Metallurgical Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore.
