Biography

Mr. M Ramakrishna graduated in Metallurgical engineering from NIT Warangal after which he carried out Masters degree in same discipline at IISc, Bangalore. After completion of post graduation he joined ARCI and started working in electron microscopy at Centre for Materials Characterisation and Testing. Initially gained experience in application of Electron back scattered diffraction (EBSD) for characterising electro-deposited copper coatings. Later on moved to Transmission electron microscopy of both bulk and powder materials. Since then he aided several research projects of ARCI with electron microscopy. Subsequently commenced research on additive manufacturing of Nickel based superalloy for his doctoral thesis.
