Biography

A Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from RGUKT–RK Valley, currently working as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at the Centre for Engineered Coatings, ARCI. His research focuses on thermal spray coatings for enhanced wear, corrosion, and oxidation resistance, with emphasis on performance evaluation and materials characterization. He works extensively on High Velocity Air Fuel (HVAF) spraying, along with High energy axial and radial plasma spray processes and post-heat treatment of thermal sprayed coatings under the guidance of Dr. G. Sivakumar (Scientist 'G' and Head of CEC, ARCI) and Dr. Naveen Manhar Chavan (Scientist 'E'). His ongoing research involves evaluating coatings under molten salt corrosion environments, contributing to the development of high-performance Ni-, Co-, and Fe-based alloys/intermetallic coatings for demanding engineering applications and mathematical modelling of metallurgical phenomena.
