Administration-Motor Transport
Motor Transport (MT) section looks after complete transportation requirements of ARCI and is under the administrative control of the Chief Administration and Personnel Officer. MT section operates the following ARCI owned vehicles:
- Ashok Leyland Staff Bus to provide conveyance to ARCI employees and students from the point up to which public conveyance is available to ARCI campus,
- Swaraj Mazda Dual Cabin Truck for transporting materials to & from ARCI
- Tata Indigo Staff car to provide conveyance to the Head of the institution
- 3 Ton and 5 Ton Forklifts for Materials Handling Operations within ARCI campus
In addition to the regular operation and maintenance of the above vehicles, the section also hires vehicles on monthly basis and daily basis for various requirements of the centres which also include a number of sponsored projects and also for variety of meetings/workshops/events organized by ARCI.
Apart from taking care of the transport requirements of ARCI, the section also books air tickets for ARCI employees for their official travel requirements and ensures that air tickets are purchased at the most economical fares.
