Liaison Office-Gurugram

ARCI Cell at Gurugram handles coordination of liaison activities, legal matters and manages various activities pertaining to intellectual property management especially, filing of patents and patent maintenance. ARCI Cell initially had operations in South Delhi till it moved into its own campus spread over an area of 1175 sq. m at Gurgaon, Haryana in February 2013. The campus boasts of a "Technology Demonstration Centre" capable of showcasing ARCI technologies to industries and entrepreneurs.

Patent filing and post filing issues being one of the primary activities of the cell at Gurugram, more than 70 patent applications have been filed of which presently, over fifty national and twenty International patent applications are pending for approval and are at different stages of processing.

This office specifically assists in Post-filing activities related to publication/ early publication, examination/ early examination, reviewing of examination report in consultation with concerned scientist and others. Follow-up is done on a case to case basis for grant of patents at the earliest. Post grant activities related to renewal and maintenance of granted Indian and Foreign patents are also handled by the Gurugram Cell.

ARCI Cell at Gurugram acts as an interface between ARCI, Hyderabad and DST (Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India) and is also responsible for liaison activities in and around Delhi.
