National Knowledge Resource Consortium (NKRC)

Established in 2009, the National Knowledge Resource Consortium (NKRC) is a network of libraries and information centres of CSIR and DST laboratories. NKRC facilitates access to over 5000 e-journals of all major Science, Technology and Medicine (STM) publishers, to standards, and to bibliographic and citation databases. NKRC is committed to strengthen the research and development activities of CSIR and DST laboratories by providing the latest and vital scientific and technical literature to the Scientific fraternity.

Being a member of the Consortium, ARCI has obtained access through NKRC to over 2500 e-journals of various publishers in areas of relevance. Further, ARCI participates in the Inter Library Loan networking activities with the research laboratories in the country working in different areas of materials science and engineering, including constituent members of NKRC.
